The PRC has officially announced that the Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) on March 29, 2020 has been suspended. This is a result of the declaration of a state of Public Health Emergency by the Malacanang as recommended by the Department of Health.

On March 11, the PRC posted an advisory on their website that all Board Exams scheduled on the months of March and April will be suspended until further notice. This includes the Licensure Exam for Teachers, previously scheduled to be conducted on March 29.

This suspension follows the declaration of a State of Public Health Emergency by the Office of the President. This is put in place to respond to the growing number of cases of CoVid 19 cases in the country.

No Future Schedules Yet

The advisory did not indicate if there will be an alternative schedule to the suspended licensure exam. The suspension of PRC exams should remain as long as the State of Public Health Emergency continues.

The advisory did state that updates for the scheduled test takers will be posted in the PRC website and in the agency’s official social media accounts.
