The Licensure Exam for Professional Teachers (LEPT or LET) requires examinees to score an general weighted average of 75%. In addition, each test taker must also have no score lower than 50% in any of their exams.

GENERAL EDUCATION (Elementary and Secondary)

The General Education Exam has 150 multiple choice items in the following subjects:

Note that you only have 2 hours to accomplish this exam. It is the first test give in the exam day.

The Professional Examination Exam is also composed of 150 multiple-choice items. You will have 3 hours to finish this exam. The subjects covered in this test are as follows:

FIELDS OF SPECIALIZATION (Secondary Education)

The field of specialization exam is held last in the afternoon for secondary teacher examinees. The exam is also 150 items long, all in multiple-choice type test. Each test taker will have 3 hours and 30 minutes to finish this exam. The coverage for each major subject are as follows:
